The North side of this vinyl and brick-sided home fell victim to green mold, dirt, and other pollutants build up due to the climate in the Houston area which is perfect for this occurrence. It became so bad that the HOA in this community began to target the home owner in order to have the “green stuff” cleaned off of the home. Besides taking away from the home’s curb appeal, this mold can also be a health hazard for the occupants of this home due to mold spores getting into the home and being breathed by the occupants.
This two story home was cleaned with the proper tailor-mixed solutions to handle the specific task at hand. The green mold was removed from the vinyl, brick, soffits, and gutters without causing damage to any of the substrates because of the proper softwashing techniques that were applied. Because the solution was mixed to the correct ratio, and not too harsh, there was no streaking (chemical burn) to the windows, or no plants burned.
